This is kind of gaming related although to be honest, I was too scared to post it in GD, I tend not to venture in there much. The place is like another world compared to here. It is like a world where the natives still run around in fig leaves hunting for mammoths.

Should a clan name have the word "The" infornt of it?

For example..

Pasty Smashers
The Pasty Smashers

Are both acceptable?

Something tells me that "The" is unneeded but I am not sure. The "The" does not need to be added as it is added by default in conversation, if that makes sense right?

Thanks all for any help.

Well if you don't put a 'The' in front of it, then 'Pasty' might sound like an adjective, like you're all a bit pale or something :D

Either. What do you want to say though? I am part of a Pasty Smasher collective? If so, then 'The Pasty Smashers' would seem right to me. Or do you want to say 'I am a Pasty Smasher!'? If so then 'Pasty Smasher' would seem correct to me.

Or choose either. It really doesn't matter :D

Not either, anything. It's a name, it can be whatever you want it to be. Go wild, make up a new word!

I think the name should reflect who or what you are or trying to be.

else it should just be for fun and grammar is just something that could mark you out as stupid or brilliant hope that helps.
