Its on Kirkstall road, the venue where Evolution was and has been for quite a few years. Part of me is thinking, wow, great club but also that its going to be wasted without big headliners and underground music. Certainly if the likes of Goodgreef and Sundissential run nights there then it will be epic like the Evo ones used to be

Just had a 360 click around on the Control website and swear it's a recreation of the nightclub where Delboy and Rodders unwittingly chat up a couple of trannies. Will still go like, just sayin'.

Yeah right nextdoor.

Evolution was good crack back in the day, not been in for a good year - didn't even know it had closed and was being refurbed! Will be on my list to end up here one of these nights out.

Goodgreef, Sundissential and Raver Baby put on some awesome 12 hour events though. Basically replacing all sound, lighting and decor with their own stuff :)

Not sure if you are joking or not but if not and you bring some of your mates with you I dont mind meeting at this - The Place for Bass - 6th December. Talking to randoms when spangled in clubs is always fun. I have actually built up a small network of people I have met at dance events over the years who I still speak to and meet up with from time to time (and one one here briefly - also met his friends through him)
