Newcastle pubs and clubs

Off to Newcastle next weekend for my birthday, going down on Friday and back up Sunday, so need some places to go out to on Friday and Saturday evening, and things to do for Saturday during the day...depending on what state we end up in.

Suggestions?

On student night we tend to finish the night with idols, sinners, sam jacks then tiger tiger.

maddisons is a good place to start, meet up and get a few drinks in while still being able to talk before heading to the clubs.

No the drinks prices are and the women who work there.

it's not somewhere I would go but it seems to be popular with students etc

I went to Newcastle once with work. I went out on my todd and got bored so text my mates to see what the most offensive thing was that I could shout in the bar and run away. The winner was "when I touch myself I think of Alan Shearer"

it was funny at the time
