Ok folks,

have spent the last two hours trying to figure this out and want to see if anyone can help me.

I have a pair of five ten freeriders size 13 and a pair of endura mt500 overshoes.

I either want to buy a pair of quick drying shoes for commuting . Six miles each way , Scottish weather ( Edinburgh ) . I have seal skinz to keep feet dry even if shoes are wet. But the most obvious choices , Shimano AM41 and Teva Links are not made in size 13 uk ?

Otherwise get a pair of overshoes that don't require me to have a hernia to pull them over the five tens and last ( the enduras are looking dodgy after only a few months use )

I only need them for communting but size and waterproofness or speed of drying(for a bike shoe) are my requirements .

Also can't do clipped shoes as my knees don't like them

Can anyone help me with my hobbit-like feet ?

Do you have flat narrow feet? If so the Sidi goretex winter shoes might be perfect for you. It's what I use from October-March usually.

They're not solely (guffaw) for flat feet but I think they'd be ok.

Flat wide feet . Anything similar to gortex shoe above for a wideboy ?

No cleats for me I'm afraid. The quick drying shoe is interesting but would want the flat hard sole like five tens.

I have the same problem. I ride with metal toe clips, the old cage and strap style ones. I ride in Converse because they're narrow on the outside like a vintage cycling shoe and you can shove them easily into the toe clip. They get soaked. I'd love to find an alternative.

At Goodwood Revival yesterday they had a vintage Tour de France display and one of the guys was wearing some slimline plain black Adidas trainers. No idea if they were current range or not, but I'm off to have a look.

Edit: looking at some pics, I'm wondering if they were in fact football boots with the studs unscrewed.

always had gyp with the left knee. Also got hit by a car with them on and unable to get out in time and hit ground when I might have been able to stop myself with my foot.

But mainly the knee thing
