NFC Tags with Windows Phones..

Hiya guys.

Just got some NFC tags to have a play around with. I was wanting to set up a tag in the hallway that would connect me to my bluetooth/wifi by just swiping. You can do this on android etc, although i have read that you cannot change settings on WP8 phones, just the ability to get into the settings page. Why is it set up like this? also there must be a way around this?

Anyone else use these?

I got some tags to do the exact same thing, but due to security on thw WP OS, they made it so you either go into the settings page straight or press OK to launch an app e.g. Nokia Drive, prevents other people tagging your phone on / off without consent.

Doing the bluetooth will get you to the bluetooth settings page for you to turn it on with another tap. I found it easier using a livetile to be honest. Not as flexible as Android in this front unfortunately.

I think this is changing in GDR3 and it's going to be more useful. Can't remember where I read it though.

I read somewhere GDR3 lets you skip the pop up saying would you like to open xxxx.
Im not sure if it lets you toggle stuff though yet
