Checked the reviews this morning, they seemed universally good with a 10/10 from Edge. So popped out to Game to grab it. There was a thirty person queue and by the time I got to the front the queue was even longer so they are selling a lot of copies. Picked up a couple of Skylanders, and the shop girl expressed astonishment that I'd gone in on GTAV day for them. Then she clocked my copy.

Said some guy had been in earlier with his 8 year old son to buy a copy, she tried to warn him off but said that his kid didn't mind. Some people...
 
Not happy... Postman has been and my amazon order wasn't with him, which I had ordered with first class delivery for guaranteed release day . Phoned amazon and they came out with some bull**** about how royal mail will make a second delivery in the afternoon for release day orders. Im assuming this is a load of crap.

Cause I really don't wanna pay £20 more, if it's not here by 2pm, I'll just order from PSN and return the amazon order when it finally does arrive.

That made me laugh just imagining it.

So will this game be worth getting? I haven't finished a GTA since Vice City. Never got on with GTA 4 story mode. Quit playing after having to go taking girls on dates, such a silly stupid thing to add to such a game.

Online was fun though but i soon got bored of the hackers. This was on the 360. I will buy buy GTA5 for the PS3 if i decide to get it.

Tell me about it mate, I work in Tesco, and yesterday I had about 20+ under 12s asking could they pre order the game. So I kept saying, sorry no pre orders, but if you come to buy the game tomorrow, make sure you bring ID. But the sad fact is, if they are with a parent or something, most people wouldn't refuse the sale, even if they are within the right to do so.

Some parent's just don't care, and it gives good fuel to the likes of the DM when some random kid flies off the handlebars.

Anyway, back on topic, my mail man is over an hour late, beginning to think he has done a runner with my copy :(
 
Funny thing I saw last night when driving through town was a lot of kids looking like they should be in bed for school and a tired looking middle age mother/father walking with them.

Just got off the phone to UPS and apparently there was an issue at the airport. They've confirmed it'll be here before 7pm tomorrow.

Don't know if to open the copy I picked up from Tesco last night and play it. Can trade it in at least when my proper copy arrives...:confused:
 
Ordered mine from a retailer with shop in its title on the 15th, arrived in France this morning, very pleased!
 
Sod it, Xbox is coming downstairs and being hooked up to the living room TV.

Will open the spare copy I have but not redeem the blimp code. Should pass the time until my collectors edition arrives.
 
how long does this game to load i started installing at 10am finish around about 10:15 and it still loading got the ps3 version i have 60gb fat ps3
