Really? Don't think anyone's that desperate to play. If you can't see work comes over a game. Frankly it's pathetic people taking days of to play a game.

People can take holidays for whatever reasons they like, and it is of no concern to the employer what those reasons are.

I could take the afternoon off and go strangle some midgets and my boss could do nothing to stop me. The law maybe.

Wouldn't happen in a good career anyway.

I'll make sure I'll tell my CTO he doesn't have a good career then, as he booked today and tomorrow off to play it.

This is exactly what I did. Didn't bother pre-ordering online as I knew it would turn into a cluster **** of fail from whatever postage service is used and I wouldn't see it until next week.

Picked it up from Sainsburys on the way in to work this morning
