Just got back from sainsburys with a copy lucky I did as royal mail still havn't shown and I doubt they will today.

How the hell do I save my game, do I always have to go back to the safehouse?
You can quick save anytime you're not in a mission; press Dpad Up to access your iFruit and select 'cloud save' (I think) from the menu.

At work until half five, but at half one my younger bro sent me a shot of two game envelopes on the sofa, so I am presuming that my copy has arrived. The next hour and a bit are going to drag.

I am having issues with the game installed on 1 usb and running of the 2nd disk as its supposed to...terrible frame rate. Maybe it just me but I didn't see this on any streams...

Some slight pop in and also some texture lag. I've seen comparison videos and I think when I get home I'm just going to install both anyway. The difference that it makes visually is out weighed by the noise for me
The main problem is people who don't have a internal SATA HDD and who are having to install disc one onto a USB pen that isn't up too the job (Slow read speeds)
If you have an internal/caddy HDD with your 360 then running this game from both that and the ROM or better still a FAST USB device then it will work perfectly fine.
I'm 25% complete with no issues at all and am running from both internal 250GB SATA (Disc 1) and an external 2TB USB2 HDD which has disc 2 installed on it.

Well, my fun day of playing GTA V has turned into 6 hours of me trying to get it to work. Game freezes on launch, i get disk unreadable errors and then the one time I got past the load screen I got through to the second mission only for it to freeze just before I got to the save point. Luckily I have two weeks off or i would be more annoyed.
My 360 works fine with other games so I'm hoping its just the game that is the problem.

Played about 2 hours I think.The graphics are...ok. It looks very good in places, but the jaggies are killing me! Only played as Franklin so far(apart from prologue) and the missions have been pretty standard. I was hoping gameplay might have evolved slightly, but there aren't many places for it to go tbh. It looks like it will be a lot more fun than previous GTA games.
I think the car handling is fine tbh. It just takes getting used to.

Your best line of attack imho would be too try and get both discs installed as it appears your rom is struggling to read the discs.
It may take a good few attempts but if you're patient with a bit of luck you should be able to get both discs installed. Ideally Disc 2 should be installed onto a decent USB pen or any USB HDD.
**EDIT**
If your 360 is upright try it laying it flat, if flat try it in the upright position. DO NOT move the 360 when on or you risk destroying the disc

Why confused??, i ordered from shopto, mind you i pre-ordered mths ago and got it today at half 12 in the afternoon.
