I'm trying so hard not to buy this however my willpower is crumbling at an alarming rate. Whats the chances that 4 large retailers will all be sold out? This is my only hope of not giving in and buying it

It was in stock at Tesco this afternoon. So pretty sure other places will have it too.

Someone at work went to Morrisons and one store had sold out and the other had 1 copy left. But I don't think they ever get large amounts of stock to be honest, Tesco/Asda seem to be getting hundreds of copies in for the large stores.

**** off, im tired...i stayed up till 4am to play splinter cell blacklist so that i can start on GTA V today lol so cut me some slack if i make some silly posts. Plus it doesnt help that ive been here at the office since 10am and im stuck here till 7 tonight

I found the golf club/tennis courts as franklin but cant seem to start a game anywhere....Any ideas how you actually activate them to play a game?

I thought that was an online feature?

Nah, well the tennis worked for me but it was pretty gash so I bailed, I couldn't be ass'd to play a whole set.
Can't remember what I did to get the tennis match started though sorry

No chance of that happening until at least 8 tonight when i get home but then ill be too excited to sleep so will spend a further 8 or so hrs playing GTA V tonight, much to the annoyance of the wife.

She just texted me, saddo 40 yr old guy getting excited over a game lol. I text her back saying expect a vicious beating tonight courtesy of a 40 yr old guy who is excited over a game. Knowing my luck she will open the package and start playing the game just to annoy me even further :/

Enjoying this a lot. I've barely moved since the install finished

I don't think the vehicle handling is bad at all, I've got quite used to it now. Not keen on being able to twist and turn vehicles in mid air and the fact that 2WD cars can get up some slopes which look quite steep without too much hassle, but other than that I'm pretty content with how the handling side of things is.

Done a quite a number of missions, probably spent twice as long just hooning about all over the map. Tried taking an old rusty car up Mt. Chiliad but I probably only made it half way up, even after using a proper track mid-way which got very steep. Then took the Range Rover lookalike up and got that to the top, threw it off the edge and it was still running at the bottom, but I couldn't steer it any more. Just took a 'Dodge' truck up while towing a trailer and almost made it back to the bottom relatively unscathed, but the truck flipped and rolled 100 yards from the road at the bottom and then blew up

I can see my week off disappearing before me

They had loads at my local Tesco Express.

I'm wondering is the reason you cant play tennis/golf/buy new apartments ect yet because you havent unlocked them on the map? I mean im looking at the map that came in the case...and im at a place where theres an apartment you can buy but i cant find anyway to actually buy it in the game yet.

Probably start about 8, get a good few solid hours in.

Your best line of attack imho would be too try and get both discs installed as it appears your rom is struggling to read the discs.
It may take a good few attempts but if you're patient with a bit of luck you should be able to get both discs installed. Ideally Disc 2 should be installed onto a decent USB pen or any USB HDD.

**EDIT**
If your 360 is upright try it laying it flat, if flat try it in the upright position. DO NOT move the 360 when on or you risk destroying the disc

Thanks for the advice crazy.

Quick update incase anyone else is suffering from the same issues. Went to Morrisions bought a new copy, I actually got an install complete screen when i put the second disk in everything works fine. So for anyone having problems then its your game and atm there is no way to fix it apart from buying a new copy.
