if Amazon offer Guaranteed release day delivery then I expect them to get it delivered on release day. Guaranteed to me means you will receive it 100% on the day stated, there should no risk.

It's up to the retailer to ensure they can honour their promise, Royal mail Do not guarantee next day delivery, so the retailer should be using a carrier than guarantees prompt on time delivery.

It's a lesson, but shouldn't need to be. I've been burned from amazon a couple of times when I've paid extra for guaranteed release only to be disappointed when they cannot deliver.

eDit: needless to say I complained for a refund

Pfft at least you are on your way home, ive still got half hr or so stuck here at work then another hr or so getting home on the tubes.

I knew i should have kept the car with me today as it would have taken me not more than 30mins max to get home. But instead gave it to the missus so she could drive to work as her car has gone in for a few repairs.

Reminds me that i or more importantly she needs to buy a new car soon...cant be having her nicking my car all the time:p
 
Just had my first crash. Xbox crashed to a beige coloured screen and was unresponsive. The frame rate isn't brilliant but bearable and it doesn't look as good as I was expecting, but overall its about enjoyment and up until the crash I was enjoying it.
 
Useless Amazon took on too many pre-orders, now my game isn't even here. Should have been first come, first serve yet people who pre-ordered days ago get their game and I don't yet I pre-ordered a month ago. Never buying from Amazon ever again.:mad:

I got another month of Amazon Prime for free. Better than nothing, I suppose. I expect mine'll turn up tomorrow.
 
I think it's beautiful, really good looking game. That's having seen my brother play it on his xbox and I've been playing on my PlayStation 3 :cool:.

Really enjoying it, so, so much fun and the city feels so alive. I've not done more than a handful of missions and I've not really explored either.

Ordering pizza now for a long night ahead :cool:.

The only negatives are the driving, I think the cars feel too 'light' and 'responsive', but the responsiveness should change after more time driving.

The frame rate is really good all things considered, not really noticed it too much, only a couple of times.
