So, do we know if this low resolution texture issue with the 360 version could be rectified with a patch from R*? Is it a glitch or intended design to allow the 360 to cope with textures and framerate at the same time?

Also, has anyone tried this USB Stick method, does it actually solve the texture pop in issue on the 360?
 
Actually pleasantly surprised that I could walk straight in a Game store at half three and pick up a copy with no preorder.

Salesman also gave me the news that I could upgrade FIFA 14 to PS4 version for about a tenner, so was doubly pleased.

i did and did not receive the game today :(

Knew i should have just popped into a shop this morning to buy it.

Last time i will pre order a game i really am looking forward in playing

Same here. Been playing new games at max settings on my new 670 and it is a massive reality check going back to PS3 after that.

However, the quality of gameplay makes that issue pale into complete insignificance.

I'm also a pc fanboy, but I own a 360 which I bought back at launch prior to becoming the aforementioned pc fanboy, and I must say that this game is simply stunning. Easily my game of the year.

That sucks mate, I never have problems with them, BUT you can always pop out to a 24h tesco and grab it!

The texture and draw-rate not being able to keep up with the fps/game is only an issue for some 360 owners and even then only when they install both discs to the same drive.
Use any combination of internal sata + ROM or Fast flash pen/USB hdd and you really shouldn't have an issue.

Like I've said I'm running mine from both the internal 250gb sata and a 2TB USB2 external hdd and textures aren't popping and the framerate is silky smooth on my Dell 27" LCD. I've not noticed it stutter or pop once and I'm 25% into the game now :D

Must admit though it does look far more lush on my 27" monitor than when I was testing my nephews downstairs on the rents 40" Sony, but obviously thats to be expected because of the higher ppi!
