********* The Official GTA V (5) thread! *********

When logging into the Rockstar Social Club can you actually do anything cool or just view your stats? Also what car and gun do you unlock for joining? I already had an account but don't know if I got the extras when I started playing.

Also when does Online become available?

How do you take the snapshots of your guys with their cars, ala the postcards on the promo site? Or was that just another bullshot where all you can do is a selfie? :(
 
I smashed it last night about 13% complete now, unlocked the third character "Trevor" so far the games been great, the missions have been interesting, the humour is really good, driving and combat system feels smooth and much improved, the map is ridiculously big i've probably not even covered a quater of it and i cant wait for online heists and making crews sounds awesome.

I stole the Jet from in there :)

Twas awesome, pretty easy to do too.

I purchased a marina slot and my first boat, went to the beach and left it offshore to visit someone, came back out and it was parked up like a car! Lol ummm

First bug, i found it funny :)
 
Love all the little touches in the game, just a few I've noticed and/or read about:

Pressing right on the d-pad you can talk to people, and keep pressing to have a conversation with some. Some of the dialogue is quite funny.
The prius-like car (dilettante) switches from battery to engine power just like the real one, you can hear it.
If you shoot out someone's tyre, a lot of the time they will pull over and change it for a spare.
If you keep revving next to a sports car at traffic lights they'll race you (they even jump the red light sometimes).
I was driving a Veryon-like car, when I pulled up somebody walking past stopped and took a photo of it on their phone.
If you walk around carrying a gun, some people will call the police.
In a tunnel, car engine/exhaust noise reverberates realistically and GPS signal is lost.

That's nuts. The only thing I've noticed is the GPS signal loss.
 
Drove to the top of a mountain in some Mondeo type car, found a cable car and 2 dirt bikes! Belted it back down the mountain on a bike and did 4000 somersaults and slid down the mountain... ended up in hospital!

CANNOT wait to get back to it after footy tonight!
