How are you playing GTA5?

Are you playing the characters as they are portrayed? or are you staying out of trouble and playing the story mode without causing too much unwanted attention? or are you just murdering everyone that looks at you the wrong way?

I am playing it how I see the 3 main characters. I have Michael suited out in a $4,000+ black suit, all weapons silenced and a sleek black business car. I've gave Trevor a full beard, mullet, covered in tattoos and I use Trevor to go on little rampages. Franklin, made him into a early 90's looking gangsta.

I've spent most my time going back and forth between buying weapons, getting hair cuts, cloths shopping, playing sports, surfing the web, site seeing and maybe an odd mission here and there.

How are you playing GTA5?

Like a regular Los Santos citizen, I only have Michael and Franklin open, but I like to drive cautiously and politely and try to avoid accidents.

Michael is in a pimped out suit with Aviator glasses, looks like something out of Heat. Franklin is dressed like 50 Cent.

I just like to drive around and take in the sights, haven't ventured out the city yet. Also like to browse the in-game internet and stock markets.

I can't be bothered to customize my character. I just like doing the missions.

Bit of exploration, customisation, some side missions and moving on with the main story. Just one incredible game, I am going to get hours of play out of and platinum this one.

Looking at your post history, you don't even post in this forum much anymore. Why come here to bait?

I created this thread for those that are playing GTA5 and to share their style of play. Can't really do that in the main GTA thread.

I'd like to just go explore and customise the hell out of the characters and cars but I'm struugling to find ways to make money other than doing missions

Perhaps I need to go round mugging people

I've done a few things where someone's had something stolen... and I've given it back. Maybe I should've just kept it.

I have no money. I've only done a handful of missions, then tried to hijack a train, shot the driver then realised I can't seem to get into the cab... so jumped off and hid under a bridge until the police stopped looking for me.

I've just called Trevor... then I had to come to work.

I drive without accidents, only kill who needs killed, return lost\stolen items in the random events and complete story missions.

Not been outside the city yet, just completed a heist...didnt go to plan

There don't seem to be many consequences to dying or murdering... something like a $15 loss of money and I don't think I lost any weapons, though I only had a pistol anyway.

Seems like a lot of people play 'sensibly'! Chasing down ATM thieves gives a bit of cash - I've only done it twice and picked up $500 and $2000. Stupidly returned the first to the lady and only got a $50 reward...

I only have Franklin so far:-

I drive as fast as I can, try to not hit people but so be it if I do...which means I do often.

Would go full pelt over a rising road not knowing what is on the other side.

Would go full pelt drifting round a corner and falls down a cliff (survived!) but car is stuck and now in the middle of nowhere!

Would punch random strangers in the head.

Sometimes after pulling the driver out of the car I would give him/her a beating before getting in the car and drive off.

Would rob a convenient store whenever I see one.

Just cause mayhem basically !

lol I did exactly the same ! the first robber I thought oh I wonder what will happen if I give it back and only ended up with $50. Second time I picked up $2000 I thought there is no way in hell I'm giving this back so I drove back to the women who got mugged and ran her over with my car

then took the petty cash she was holding and drove off causally
