Like really how ******* hard is it to find? i searched the tinterwebs far and wide to find one and thought i did in this https://www.asus.com/Optical_Drives/DRW24F1ST/ and when it came it was all silver -_- I know its pretty anal of me but if i had an all black one it'd blend in a dream with my build. Ugh surely they exsist?

If not anyone wanna go into bussiness making them lol theres a market!

I personally haven't use optical media (outside of work) for approximately 3 years now, I mean Netflix and other DLC media has completely replaced it in my home but I can see what you mean if you must have an optical drive in your system and it just makes the rig look nasty :( maybe you could just spray paint it or do as I do and have an external drive just in case.

I use a external blu ray drive, have used it once this year and sits in the draw, best option and keeps the front of the case nice and clean looking.

Im also gonna make the switch to an external drive. Just a dvd rw model, currently have an internal blu ray/dvd rw drive but it's rarely used now. No need for blu ray playback now as ive got a standalone player. Also it will be a few less cables cluttering my case.

nah i have real need of an actuall drive i use it a fair amount tbh. Im just gonna strip it down and paint it and see what happens :) i genuinly cant belive they dont exsist :O and if they do there like rocking horse **** to find

I took apart the screws and got the top plate off but the bottom (and sides) bit just didnt wanna come off, in the end i got a bit to violent with it and yanked it off :O

Get a Pioneer BDR-208DBK 15x SATA Internal BD-RW Drive Burner Black. It's the best drive that I have bought. Quieter than any other optical drive that I have ever owned including Plextor, Sony, Samsung and Pioneer DVD/CD drives.
