Hi all,

Need to build a machine for a friend to replace their 8+ years old machine. The computer will only be used for internet, general office work, a bit of picture editing, and music etc. I am used to putting together high end machines so my mind has gone blank. spec needs to include case, psu, mobo, ram and Cpu. Think I would prefer it to be an Intel based machine. Budget is around £350, but will go to £400, but lower the better, but quality so it will last.

Help me out with some suggested specs please. Many thanks guys.

This is looking good, but think I would change case to Corsair carbide 200R, leave out the graphics card and use on board - otherwise a nice spec machine for the money - should do them fine.

Thanks for your help.
