I have two PS3's both on Plus (one upstairs & one downstairs) using the same profile, that I'm currently playing GTA V on, & i swap between the two, depending on the location of the kids within the house. So they don't hear all the swearing that's going on.. :p

Anyway, I'm on plus, so 'should' be able to make full use of the cloud saves.

Is there a way to do it so that its seamless? as in not copying my save to the cloud every-time i finish a session? then having to remember to copy it back locally on the other ps3.

I know there's that thing where it says it'll do automatically, but stops you dead in your tracks if you have more than one PS3 active on that auto update option?? Seems a bit silly to me.. Anyway, not really spent much time on it, but is there a way to circumvent this, so that i can literally play on one machine, finish up, have it auto save to the cloud, shut it down and then go downstairs and play on the other? Or am I forever stuck to having to manually remember ?

Thanks fellas.

If you can only have the automatic updates function active on one console at a time, you're out of luck I'm afraid.

This is one area where the 360's implementation is slightly better, as it syncs your save files in the background when the console turns off rather than at a set time.

Last time I tried to look into owning more than one 360, it was a condeluded mess. It involved saving profiles on USB pens. Way too much effort. Are you saying they've completely simplified it now ? as in turn one on upstairs, finish up, go downstairs and turn it on, and leave where you left off?

Not anymore if you've got gold you can save the profile to the cloud.

Op I've got two PS3s and there is no way you can do it you'll have to do it manually every time. Don't the cloud saves on PS3 get uploaded once a day at the allocated time anyway so you'd still have to upload your save before moving to the other PS3.
