GOt to my first mission I'm struggling on. It involves a crop duster. I'm on my 4th attempt now. The lighting of this particular mission doesn't help. I might increase brightness for a little while :p

It was seventh time lucky lol. A bit disappointing in the end, but what it unlocked (i think) is certainly worthwhile :D

I went with a 16GB Corsair Voyager slider, why that one? I like corsair as a brand so was looking at theirs and it was only £12.50 and I got free next day delivery so win, win, win for me.

The cars which spawn depend on the area of the map you're in. In the affluent area around Michaels house for example there's lots of supercars. In the ghetto you'll find mostly sheds.

Usually that's the case but in this case there was literally only one type of car ANYWHERE on the map. I drove around for ages. Not sure if it was a bug or if the game did it on purpose to try and force me to use a certain car for the race :confused:

GTA games the cars around you have always been influenced by the car you're driving (they split into groups) in that mission in particular it seems to get stuck. I just had SUV's around.

i dont believe this is the case anymore, i havent seen this much at all...
 
I'm enjoying the game, its definitely the best GTA yet.

I just wish that torture scene was handled differently. I think it went too far and just felt really uncomfortable and whatever Rockstar was trying to do just didn't come across for me. I'm normally the type of guy who doesn't really care about this stuff, I'm not a fan of censorship, but the way it was depicted and how it had you controlling it was simply nasty. There was no satire, it was just misplaced and it would affect how I replay the game.

Wouldn't it be a little funny though if it did get released for PC on GFWL and then a few weeks later GFWL closed down and no one could play it on their PC's? Imagine the outrage :D

I felt the same way, I didn't even want to torture the guy and he'd already given you what you needed to know
 
Has anyone else had difficulty progressing the jewellery store heist? I confirmed the plan and Lester said he will call with details about the gas and pest control van. I've been playing for about 4 hours now and haven't had the call!

Possible bug or am I missing anything?

I'm pretty sure it was done to make the player realise how crazy/sadistic Trevor is, especially as he went along with it, no questions asked. Then again, it could have been done to show that the FIB guy has no boundaries when it comes to what he'll do. Either way, it didn't make me feel uncomfortable. I quite enjoyed the mission.
