24 days here (plus the 8 days it took to dispatch!), there's no juice or batteries in my order, which is why this is so frustrating! I agree, GB should be on the Singapore Mail's international tracking information.

All I know is that my parcel has been "in the air" now for too long!
 
I've given up on it and will not buy from China again. It's a slow and frustrating experience. Their tracking numbers are about as much use as Ann Frank's drum kit. It only shows 2 different status it is shocking. They have given the tracking number to PayPal to further delay my claim. Hopefully PayPal will see its not a proper useful tracking number.
 
Luckily my order from fasttech came through, although it did take two and a half weeks.

Can anyone recommend me a tank, I have tried the smoketech rsst which vapes great but is an absolute pain in the butt to get working properly, I bought a vivi nova which would be ideal but no matter what I do it gives me a poor vape and a burnt taste.

So is there anything available that you can just fill and go ?

Cartomizers in a tank.

Boge 510 pre punched cartos inside a carto tank of some kind. Easy to fill easy to vape taste good cheap and cheerfull.

How ever I have shinynitis and I buy rebuildables and get on waiting lists so i dont even smoke cartos or clearos at all anymore lol.

Looking good buddy - what resistance are you at?
I should have written what size that wire is, apologies if I didn't. That's 0.32mm or 28AWG A1 Kanthal. For microcoiling it's perfect.

How's the vape?
 
RedMogg - I just recoiled one of my lackluster EVODs with your 2.5mm silica and 28awg kanthal - wow. Don't have my ohm meter or blow torch handy so just winged it with 5 wraps. It vapes amazingly! Thanks again :D

The burn is consistent, even red glow, warm but not snap-cracle-pop lumpy at 3.3v and I can taste nuances in this vanilla liquid I have never tasted before :eek:

I wrapped 1.5 Ohms and with that many wraps its perfect produces a lot of vapour. Im using the DID on my vamo at the moment instead of my Dingo lol.
The vape is crisp although im using a ****** bunch of e liquid atm i put totally wicked banana in there as im running out of EVERYTHING and it is HORRID.

Ive abandoned my DID for the rest of my work day as I cant vape it without wanting to drink acid to get rid of the taste. It is horrible and its not due to the coil its due to the flavour being bad.

This kanthal size is PERFECT I blowtorched it before hand prewrapped the coil nice and tight blowtorched it again while tightening it. Then I threaded silica through it and then held the coil tight against the silica and compressed and blow torched it again, against the silica and it held steady and nom nom.



Im trying to find the right place to buy thekanthal in the uk.

Everywhere seems to have the wrong measurements or seem to be selling a size smaller then what I need.

Good choice, they are great tanks if they work properly. I ordered one earlier this week and it didnt work very well ie trying to pull on it was like pulling liquid through a tiny noodle:p. Sent it back to where i got it from and they are sending me out a new one.

My other 2 protanks work perfectly fine though...this is the 3rd protank ive bought that doesnt work so i dont know if its a dodgy batch or what.

Definitely. :)

Once it starts tasting consistently burnt, at the price they're at just chuck it and replace.

Or if you're using a VV mod, dial down the voltage. I honestly couldn't get any of my Protank heads to not burn at anything above 3.6v, so I'm back to carto tank for now.

Possibly, like i said i change mine every 2 weeks but sometimes i leave it for 3 weeks and i dont get a burnt taste. I tend to wash out my tanks on a weekly basis along with the head as well then leave it to dry overnight.
