GIF thread question. YES or NO

Considering other threads are moderated for swearing and are supposed to be 'family friendly' there shouldn't be any bewbs in the gif thread at all tbh.

Some of the gifs on the old thread are clearly taken from porn vids anyway (not that I recognised any of them I might add)

I think there could be merit in that stance. If you're not comfortable looking at it during work, is it really family friendly?

I love how people get on their moral high ground and instead of trying to find a happy medium just say "**** it close the thread sod everything". Grow up!

As said above:

* Most GIF pages are blocked
* I enjoy all the GIFs, just some i cant look at in work.
* Put them in spoilers
* Everyone happy.

Forum needs an over 18 section with slightly more relaxed rules. I'm not saying hardcore material should be aloud, or vulgar language, just a little more than the current thread and rules allow.

Just to add I'm a fan of the GIF thread I just don't view it at work.

Fixed it for you.

On this basis can someone create a topic whining about the women posted in the picture thread which stops their enjoyment at looking at other random pics becuase reddit / 4chan / or whatever other awful website is blocked at their work.

:rolleyes:

I like to peruse it on lunch each day but the lovely ladies do make me wonder if I should! (I scroll very quickly past anything bouncey).

However, the thread should adhere to OCUK's guidelines, not mine or anyone else's employers rules. Unless they want to, of course.

I say we ban the more puritanical dons from being able to moderate gif threads and leave to the more hedonistic ones.

I really don't the understand how GD can have these double standards, there are plenty of threads where contributors are being openly homophobic / racist / bigoted and generally unpleasant to all and anyone.

However, show some flesh and we are talking fleshy parts and there is an uproar which include suspensions and deletions.

A simple rule would fix all the problems: "If the .gif would offend Ned Flanders put it in spoiler tags" :P

I think there could be merit in that stance.

Would it not be a tad hypocritical of OcUK to regulate the .gif thread more strictly than the Monitor dept on the store? especially considering the way they defended that practice and the use of "booth babes" when a thread criticizing it popped up last year.

Are you reporting them?
