I don't even...

In April this year, AMD revealed their reference Radeon HD 7990 graphics card codenamed Malta. Since launch, we have seen none of the manufacturer’s preparing a custom board and design for the Radeon HD 7990 however that’s about to end since manufacturer XFX has introduced their latest Radeon HD 7990 Triple Dissipation GPU in mainland China.

That's what the ladies say when i drop my pants.

With regards to the cooler, its horrible. They will need to have improved it somewhat if its going to keep a 7990 cool. I remember this cooler being worse than the 7970 reference cooler. :D

if it was not a triple slot cooler and did not have the gap in the side it would be ok i think, that gap between the PCB and cooler makes it look horrid :(

And yes, it's ugly. Very ugly.

Whilst true, the majority aren't stupid enough to care about looks if it performs well.

That said, i was never a fan of the original XFX 7970 cooler. Largely because they performed similarly or worse than a god damn reference design.

My two run super cool ;) they very really pass 70c and thats also crossfire.. the only downside to the cooler is its noise level once passed 60%
but gaming with headphones on you cant even hear it.

XFX should not be allowed to make custom coolers. I notice the TDP says 300W as well. Gotta be a typo, right?

Furry muff, but i was talking about the 7970 version. The couple of reviews i read about it, one by anand were scathing about its cooling performance.

I will take that challenge Mr Shanks.

Didn't mean to slate your cards cooler, just the 7970 version btw so sorry about that. I'm sure the 7950 version does a much better job as its a cooler card with a smaller TDP. :)

That said, i can take you downtown.

900/1375. What fan speed? Can i use 100%? :D
