I have to ask, why would you rather pay £5 per month than £40 upfront and save £20? You can get a year's membership for £32 if you look around too.
Ok had to buy it at Game for the excorbitant price. Didnt buy the insurance against lazer burn hopefully wont regret it.
Only played about an hour and really liking. It the driving is great, and so many cars on the road. It feels a lot more polished.

I was lowish health and on the pier so I went to a burger stall and spoke to the vendor. He then decided to attack me so I had to beat him up, and get $11 for my trouble. As much as it made me smile I really wanted a burger.

I agree, some hints on when to buy prior to what missions and/or what to buy and then who else to attack would be cool.

I'm absolutely a graphics snob but I have to say this is impressive. Not technically the best this generation imo as that goes to the last of us but considering it's scale...wow (also just rained and my word that looked great) Yes it badly needs aa,af, higher texture resolution and framerate but that's what the eventual pc version is for. Glad I didn't wait as I'm having so much fun.
