US: The Walking Dead Season 4 (contains spoilers)

No trailers watched so far....and re-watching from Season 1 currently on the commute to and from work...just hit the start of season 2.

May not bother with 3 as it's still very fresh in the mind.

For me, the first 3 episodes of season 2 were good and then everything from the episode where they clear the barn out (iirc episode 7) was superb except the last episode, utterly ridiculous; drive bys for about 15 minutes, unlimited ammo (although Hershel with his shotgun was awesome :D), headshot after headshot etc. The final could have been so much better if they didn't just go over the top with the action and had done it the episode slightly differently........

Anyway, some info. on a few of the season 4 episodes, although nothing really that exciting given away except the brief summary for each episode:

Episode 4.01 - 30 Days Without an Accident

The group lives an ideal life at the prison, and strives to hold onto humanity.
Episode 4.02 - Infected

The group faces a new enemy; Rick and the others fight to protect their hard-won livelihood.
Episode 4.03 - Isolation

A group leaves the prison to search for supplies; the remaining members of the group deal with recent losses.
Episode 4.04 - Indifference

The supply mission faces hurdles; the situation at the prison worsens.

Prison is quickly turning into Farm V2, I prefer it when they're on the road than shacked up in some near impenetrable fortress with an unlimited supply of food and ammo.

I hope the spinoff series is completely standalone and not tied to the much overrated comics. If the spinoff is all about the Gov I will be mucho disappointed. A story all about the outbreak or set in another country would be good, but I very much doubt that will happen
