So what's the deal with armored cars ?

I've been trying for ages to steal the money in them. For ages it ended in either

1. The van driving on no matter how much I shot out the tyres or forced it off the road with a big rig

2. The cops getting called and killing me before I could get in it.

3. Shooting the back doors or ramming them to open them at the lights, only for 1) then 2) to happen

I died about 6 or 7 times this way so instead decided just to steal it. Drove off in it and evaded the police. About 300 carbine bullets later the door still wasn't off so I blew them open with a pipe bomb. And the thing is empty WTF !!!
 
Have to admit..I never really liked the previous GTAs, or could really get in to them but this game is something else. Everything is so blooming good! 17 hours in...28% done, 1 heist. Not bored. Incredible really. Gonna see how the story plays out but this is rising fast in my all time great games.

yeah, i sometimes wish there was an option to turn the police off altogether when not doing missions so you can just do whatever you want with no consequences.

as soon as you start a rampage you spend more time running away from the cops than anything else tbh since it's so easy to die in this GTA
 
I haven't had much trouble shaking the cops...just need to be quite clever with the routes you take and areas you go off in to. Got to a four star warning and I couldn't get out of that one.
 
So when Michael gets the vine wood garage what happens to the cars he had at his house ? The house isn't on the map anymore and the car I poured like 100k into has vanished !!

i can easily shake them on 2 stars

3 stars is a bit of a handful but again do-able but the amount of time it takes once your safe is a joke.

when you get to 4 stars and above, it's 50/50 whether your going to make it or not i find
