I see more and more people moving to three than any other network, especially with people on this site
I moved from 02 obviously for the data

Even though they will be the last to roll out 4g they will still also be the first with 4g anywhere near me (peterborough)

But with the inevitable net gain in customers, can they actually cope with the unlimited 4g bundles or are we just going to see overall slower and slower speeds due to over subscription?

If unlimited 4g came to my home village i would be scrapping my landline completely, both calls and broadband, can it cope with this strain?

I have had Three for ages, switched to GiffGaff once but their terrible internet speeds (in my area) forced me back on Three which tbh have been really good.

I had indoor signal issues and they sent me a free signal box which is rare on a rolling sim only so I do appreciate what they have done and love the AYCE data.

Having said that I have recently noticed a dip in internet speeds as compared to say 3-4 months ago, I assume this is because of more people signing up on three, I hope they upgrade their back-end as I love the AYCE data but it needs to be decent in terms of speed.

Unless other networks start offering decent real unlimited data the three are going to keep taking more and more business.

This, I would have stayed with O2 if they offered unlimited data but they didn't. On top of that Three sent me an email saying that they will upgrade me to 4G for free when it gets rolled out. Kitty Kat high five!!

I'm on O2, I stupidly signed up to a new contract with them with reduced data to save a couple of quid a month a while back, but now finding myself getting restricted bandwidth pretty quickly. So Three's SIM only deals caught my eye as well. Will be changing as soon as my contract is up, not only (claimed) unlimited data, but substantially cheaper as well.

Three are a terrible network,

I will never go with these clowns again :/

Giving reasons for this statement would help!!!... :o

I've had no problems with 3 since leaving Vodafone!, Speed increases and Unlimited Data plus half the price Vodafone quoted me for one of their crappy packages! :)

I'm actually going to stay on O2. Don't need unlimited data plan as it's included in rent and unlimited, plus they have enough wifi spots over London that it's not like I'd ever be caught short. Plus, 5GB is more than enough for me I reckon. I don't really use it for media all that much.

three is awesome cant fault them as not only do i have a phone with them i also have a dongle with them 2 and some times when i go to a lan party i will use the dongle instead of the wired connection as i get better speeds and less ping.

I went for nearly a month without any signal downstairs or outdoors and a very weak signal upstairs, it still not sorted to this day yet making it nearly 2 months now, everybody on Three round here are still suffering.

First they said it be sorted in 7 days it wasn't, then next their shocking customer service accused me of lieing saying there wasn't a problem in my area, yet 3 on Twitter said their is a problem with the mast and don't know when it be fixed in my area. :/

Fun continues with trying to cancel my 12 month sim due to lack of service, their shocking crap customer service hung up on me twice when i said i wish to cancel, when i did finally get to speak to somebody without being hung up on after being put on hold for over 35 mins, I managed to get it cancelled only to find they charged me a full month of service even though i cancelled and said i wouldn't be charged for it & trying to get your money back is impossible, so cancelled my direct debit.

Now Im waiting for a debt collector letter as i know this will come going off what other people have said on facebook, after cancelling their contract and having a mark against my credit rating.

I think their are enough complaints on 3's facebook page as a good reason not to go with these, they really are shocking.

If they can't give people a proper service on 3G, how they gonna cope when it comes to 4G, all those that are leaving other networks, because of their sim only deals and 4G for free will soon wish they didn't.

that i am sure is an isolated case though, for me its the opposite, i only have 3g signal from three, and luckily the only network with nicely priced unlimited data

if you ignore locatio9n, ie all networks provided 4g where you lived, i would absolutely go with three, not only are they the cheapest, but true unlimited just means i dont need to worry

Pointless post is pointless. Been with Three for 2 years, can't fault them.

Of course its pointless isnt it??. Fact is for some people 3 are dire and for some they arent.

Im with Voda 4G and no complaints so far, paying £26 a mth for unlimited everyting with 8gb of data thrown in. Again some people say Voda are useless whereas i would say they arent.

Horses for courses as i like to say.

Over the years on contract I've been with Vodafone, T-Mobile, 02 and for past couple of years Giffgaff with a simfree smartphone, never had a single problem with any of these networks.

Three i was with for 2 months only, i will never go back with this network again, now I'm back on Giffgaff as the O2 signal around here is considered one of the best.

As for 4G Giffgaff will be offering it at some point, as to when i don't know, but I'm quite happy with 3G i get from them so no rush.

Brilliant unlimited network :) Not a single problem at all. Decent H+ speeds

Yea, it really just depends on your area and what kind of offers you can get. I had Vodafone for awhile, they sucked at work which made me leave, rest of London was fine, but having no signal is a DOA (lucky had a rolling contract). I tried Three afterwards, data speeds are much faster, coverage isn't as great, like when I travel to outskirts of London my signal can be a bit flakey.

There isn't a perfect network but they each have pros and cons and it depends what you need the most.
