Curious about this.

Where do you stand regarding trackers on a car?
Obviously for insurance they are ok.

This is purely theoretical - what if i put a tracking transmitter on a car without the owner knowing about it? I know all the human rights rubbish (invasion of privacy etc but if they weren't doing anything illegal then no issue? ) but was wondering if the reason it was done would override that based on the result being an infringement and huge crime? I've never done anything illegal and would never intentionally harm anyone- I am the nice guy looking out for a few defenceless people.

Won't do it, just curious from a responsible person aspect. Is it better to know about something and try to correct it or tell people who can't do anything about it anyway?

This is the one that was left on my RS4 by some baddies

And watching Sky TV? Good result though. How did you find it?

Some nice people from West Midlands serious crime squad found it for me, which was nice of them. They had managed to gain access to laptops with the tracking program on it and bingo, my RS4 was being tracked. I then helped them locate it as it as I had access to stuff that made that easy ;)
