Anyone know the cheapest place to pick these up? Gave my old DSi to my mum ages ago but really fancy the new pokemon.

I skipped a few generations and I am feeling the bug!

You can get Pokemon for around 33 on Amazon and get it release day at the latest or you can create a Tesco direct account and use the code "TDX-DV73" and get it for 29.99 but you probably won't get it until a couple of days after launch (Saturday so probably Monday).

Release day isn't really an issue, not for this one at least :)

3DS normal should do you fine at a cheap price...however...the XL is just so much better and feels more comfortable to use.

Keep an eye on HotUKDeals, but I've pre-ordered Pokemon from Shopto as I want it before release day and I'm off all day on the Friday anyways ;)

3DS black is £99.97 through Blockbuster right now.

3DS XL can be had anywhere betweem £155-180 new but around £189 packaged with Mario Kart 7 (which is fantastic).

If you want it purely for Pokemon that deal from Blockbusters would be ideal.

OK Random question (might get that mariokart one! Not played that since the SNES), do the new 3DS's work with WPA? Dont want to drop to WEP again.

I was looking for myself recently and Asda have XL for £174 with a game. (game could sell for £10).
Then if you know anyone at all who works there, 10% off.

so could pick one up there for £147.60 new after selling game which isn't bad.

I'm still undecided as to whether I'll bother yet and might just wait for something else on hotdealsuk instead.

I got my 3DS Xl for £159 from Tesco. Definitely worth getting the XL for the extra screen estate. My DS Lite felt puny in comparison.

Or get the 2DS :D Its cheaper and will be bundled with the game on release.

The 2DS is £109.99 with no games (on Amazon). Might as well get a bundled 3DS XL.

If the 2DS was <£100 I could understand it (maybe). But pricing just a mere £30-40 below the premium model is ridiculous.
