Want to see the likes of Nani/Kagawa/Zaha/Januzaj against Liverpool. Same team as today will be nigh on unforgivable. Hope RvP is back too.

Oh, and Hernandez too. :/

Hopefully Mata puts in a better performance than the ones at Everton & v Villa, he was very poor & until he can adapt his game to suit the style we are trying to play he won't be 1st choice, according to JM anyway.

Wonder what team Wenger will put out against WBA, they are a pretty decent team and my only fear is that the likes of Ozil, Ramsey and Wilshere may be running out of steam. Dont want us to overwork Ozil for a start, last thing we need is him being injured.

Heard Bendtner will possibly be in the squad for this game, time he showed us what he is capable of as unlikely as it will be lol.

I thought the Arsenal game was on TV? Can see Giroud being rested, think Ozil could do with all the game he can get at the moment so he becomes fully acclimatised to England quicker.

Yep i imagine it will be Bender in the squad and Giroud perhaps as a sub on the bench.

As for Ozil, true the more games he gets the better but then i dont want to see him knacker himself out or get an injury of some sort. Just a shame that Carzola isnt back till Oct latest, think he will be back for the Napoli game. As we could have used Ozil as a sub or Carzola as a sub for either of them.

Aston Villa are certain to make changes for tomorrow's Capital One Cup match with Tottenham, with eight players, including striker Christian Benteke, likely to be absent. Gabriel Agbonlahor (ankle) and midfielder Ashley Westwood (thigh) are highly unlikely to be risked.

Fabian Delph and Antonio Luna are struggling with knocks while Jores Okore (knee), Charles N'Zogbia (Achilles) and Gary Gardner (back) are long-term casualties. Jed Steer is set to replace Brad Guzan in goal.

Christ, we have no chance unless Spurs field their under 21s :(.

Juan Mata and David Luiz should be be starting tonight. Azpilicueta, Schwarzer, Bertrand, Kalas and Essien will make their first starts of the season.

Will be interesting to see who City put out. Will be good to see Richards back on the pitch and I'm hoping John Guidetti gets a run out too. Would expect Pantilimon, Lescott, Garcia, Rodwell and Jovetic all to be in the starting 11.

I think you have. Spurs like to control the game by passing the ball around and retaining possession bu they get caught out on the break. Any side digging deep and taking the game to Spurs has a great chance.

I wish i could get excited over the league cup but i worry about injuries prohibiting our league progress.

Hopefully spurs will line up:

Friedel

Naughton Chirices Kaboul Fryers

Sandro Dembele

Lamela Holtby Chadli

Kane

Then do some changes around 60 mins saving lamela/dembele etc for Chelsea at the weekend :)

Either way it's a punishing fixture week for Spurs. Playing 3 games in 6 days. Don't know why we can't play on the Wednesday like Swansea are doing. Just glad we have a big squad now or this would be a nightmare.

In all fairness, that's not a bad line-up for us if we're looking to rest players. Obviously the couple of injuries we have had don't help matters but you could hardly call that a weak team.

Well if Countinho was fit i would give Suarez a start but now we have no choice really he needs to start tomorow. I think we will struggle. So far Sakho hasnt impressed me that much.

Llori is rumoured to start, If we play 4 CB again though i suspect trouble :/

I thought you had the strongest squad in the league 2 seasons ago? What with adding so many players over the summer you should be more than capable of resting everyone ;).
