First Build 1500-2500 - Advice

Hi,
I'm looking to build my first gaming rig, I'm open to all suggestions which is why i have added such a wide bracket on my budget.

I have played around with a few setups before that i have had in the house and I'm fairly confident that i have a reasonable idea for someone starting a rig for the first time.

I will say before we start that I am aiming high and wish to be adventurous! If not then why bother eh?

I would like to look into a custom water cooling setup so please bare this in mind. I like the Corsair H60-100 but you don't get the customisation you would that of a custom setup.

I like open to everything so please let me know all your thoughts and setups!

I will later be moving over to Project Logs to build the outcome of this thread!

Its a very good opotion for CPU cooling..

Is this a gaming rig?

Are you wanting to put your GPU under water too?

Do you want that case too or something different?

It is a gaming rig yes, i would love to get some wc on my graphics, i saw in the tech labs there are some there.

The case im pretty easy on as long as its newb friendly for cable management and fairly spacey

Favourate colour would have to be read, though i have seen so many setups in other colours that look so nice too !! :confused:

Some extra bits i didn't mention:

I don't need a monitor or mouse (saw a few in the builds) apologies for not mentioning this earlier guys.

I love the idea of getting a reservoir and getting my own loop setup, do you think this is realistic at entry level knownledge wise pretty much? I dont plan to take any shortcuts and will start researching right away (starting here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18290835)

Thanks for the 3 setups!! I love the sli and crossfire setups but would this be possible with cooling - and again an i dreaming too much for my current experience?

All the specs above are fully watercooled, so both GPU's and CPU are watercooled. They also have Pumps and tube res' to display on the inside of the case.. Xifre and SLI are possible while under water.

My spec is a black/silver/blue theme while ether has gone for black/orange

Does black/red take your fancy then?

Removing the monitors and mice from those specs will bring you way under budget.

I prefer to keep away from blue if possible, the orange is similar to red and looking online there are some great rigs in orange i would die for.

If i was to get SLI/Xfire would i need to look into addition parts e.g. www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-192-EK&groupid=962&catid=1529&subcat=2267 and fittings?

That would work and make the water loop between the cards look a lot neater

I love the idea of eventually getting myself into OCing even if it means adjusting the rig when that time comes to better adapt to any needs it may have (not something i plan to do for a couple of months).
