I naturally like the finer things in life including my comedy of which I find all the top comedians to be very intelligent - I believe this is crucial to great comedy.

Every time someone says they think Ricky Gervais is funny I laugh. That doesn't make him funny though.

If he is so intelligent why is his "humour" aimed at entertaining the stupid? or is he using his intelligence in an exploitative manner?
