got my 1x10 set up and new slx brakes. :)

Can tell the difference in brakes a mile away already between them and the juicy 3s! What a difference! Kinda regretting getting a 32 upfront rather than a 34 but I'm sure I can invest in a 34 if I manage the crawls up ok.

I'm finally looking to get back into my biking after quite a few years out but I'm going to need to get a shed first to keep them in. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any makes etc?

Ideally it'd be metal and able to accommodate a couple of bikes.

Once I've got that sorted then I can start looking at filling it :)

check with your insurance for any specific requirements.

ive just ordered a tiger shed. im going to punch through the floor and have an insurance approved ground anchor and chain. also a large bar on the door.

depends on budget through really. asgard being top end.

My sisters boyfriend had his bike pinched from a locked garage sometime in the night, apart from the police and facebook is there anything or anywhere else something could be done?

Bike is a Specialized Enduro 2007? Marzocchi Monster T forks, Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock, Hope pro 2 rear hub on Mavic D321, DT Hugi front on Mavic D321, Lime green DMR V8, Clarks S2 hydraulic disks.
Bike was located in West St. Leonards East Sussex.

Do you have a garage Andy? That'll be a lot more secure unless you're planning on one hefty shed :D

Sadly not and no spare room in the house either. As soon as I get my own place I'll be looking for something with a garage/utility for them.

As for budget, I haven't really set anything yet but a few hundred probably. I've seen the Asgard ones mentioned before but will take a look at that Tiger one as well.

I don't use this shed anymore for my bike now i have an indoor solution but heres what i did when i had my Trek.

I got a cheapo shed that i had to build for around £100.

I dug a hole about half a meter deep and cemented a motorcycle chain in the hole which i then fed up through the bottom of the shed.

I used a series of gold rated D locks and metal cables to secure the bike. I also had CCTV on it linked to my synology.

never had any problems but was nervous about my bike being in it.

I guess something like that may be best for now, cheers for the idea. The area that I live in is pretty safe and the metal sheds I've seen so far are a good £400 or so. It's only really a temporary solution until I get my own place really.

Atm I'm just using the Smorgasbord, but when I get a new wheel next week (hopefully) I'm going to order a HD and NN at the same time, may as well while I'm losing rotational weight anyway.

no idea what that means.

That was a rented house that i no longer live at

The diagonal braces are pointing the wrong way so that they aren't holding the gate up, which is the whole point of putting them on the gate. Sorry, it's just one of them things I notice :o :D.

HD / NN - what are they... care to elaborate?

Hans Damp, trail star front and pace rear.

I went with trail both, only as pace were sold out and I wanted them now.
Cheers - where were they from Begbie? Can't see them on Bike Discount.
