The bay Scammer at work ????????

Just listed my Samsung galaxy s4 on ebay for £350
free delivery and it comes free with a mine glass screen protector and neo hybrid case.

about 3 minutes later it sold, i though thats strange nothing sells that fast LOL
so i got a email from him asking about the phone and stuff so i sent it back to him as he required extra info before he would pay.... all fair enough, then it seems his name is coming up on ebay as not registered user anymore

first scammer flag lit up lol

then i get a email back from him saying :

Topic name : I HAVE MADE PAYMENT, POST THE ITEM ASAP, * yes thats right all caps*

I just looked at my paypal and no transaction id or anything ???? so im wondering how he paid, or what transaction id that is as it shows nothing under searching.

Seems like a scammer to me and why the hell would i in the first place want to send my phone to nigeria when i listed on a UK ebay lol

If he has paid, it won't be via eBay's checkout system. He'll have just transferred you the money so that he can reverse the transfer as soon as you send the phone.

If this is the case, bank the money, delete your PayPal account and enjoy a rare victory over these little ******* oxygen thieves.

just posting my scammer experiances we all do it lol, and even if he did that theophany im not going to send the phone unless i can withdraw all the money out with one hand then with the other send the phone off lol

Really. Obvious scam is obvious. You will get an email from eBay in a couple of days informing you that the account used to pay for the phone is stolen and the transaction will be reversed.

Also, eBay's international listing and search policy can do one.

excluding location won't make much difference. all the scammers use UK addresses on their accounts and only reveal "their" shipping address in an email like the one above.
