Anyone heard or use Ovivo

Been using mine for a week now and no problems at all so far. An advert pops up for 5secs when you first goto a website in that session, you hit continue when the timer runs out, thats it.

This would be a decent sim for kids too, as they get WiFi at home, school, mates, buses and er restaurants so the 500mb would do, did I read somewhere about a sim that gave up to 1/200mb a day supported by ads??

I saw that HUKD thread too. I saw it at a brilliant time because my contract ran out this month. I just bought a new phone and as I'm a low usage user I was looking at a cheap contract. Should be receiving the SIM card tomorrow, which I'll need to unlock. But for the 'price' of short ads when connecting to the internet it's a really good deal!

Its very good for people who are "low usage user"

I would love to go for it, just the 500mb nbot really enough for me. Mrs has been using Ovivo for a year now. And she has had no problems. Infact i've ordered a ew more for freinds & famaily. :)

I received my Ovivo sim card today, I put it in my spare phone and tried to make the initial phone call, couldn't connect and said no credit on phone. I tried calling 263 Customer Services but would n't connect because I didn't have credit on the sim even though I had paid £15.

I found a contact page on Ovivomobile and sent an online query about my simcard and account. I got an email back 10 minutes later and Ovivo CS had unlocked my account and activated my sim card. I was then able to log on the Ovivo website to view my account and make calls. That was good customer service in my book.

Did she have to pay another £15 at the end of the year? I keep reading conflicting reports.

If you look on their site they say New users login to the website with your phone number and password then make a call. Done.

Going to sign up to this today, in use as a back up phone.
If anyone trust me their name and phone number in the next 30mins or so, I'll add you to the registration, not sure what beneifts you get, probably free minutes or something.

Thought it would be worth mentioning, recently ordered a nanoSIM from Ovivo, turns out they don't offer actual nano or microSIMs, only full size SIMs that they then cut down. The nanoSIM wouldn't fit into an adaptor at all. Ended up contacting their customer support (which are always busy) and ordering a replacement full-sized SIM (can sort out citing it at a later date myself).

I've just ordered a SIM, they've just increased the texts to 250 per month!

According to billmonitor my average monthly usage is really low, and I was recommended the 3 Essentials 200 SIM only deal.

This one will do me nicely as well and for a one-off payment of £15! Hopefully I never have to pay a monthly bill ever again :D

Yep its gone up to £20 still not bad tho, I got in at £15 just to try it out, not the end of the world if its no good

Exactly,

I've been on it now for the past month and a bit and I must say I have no issues with it what so ever,

Would highly recommend it for anyone that knows they get good reception on Vodafone in their area, I got 5 cards in total and transferred numbers across etc for family members who also have no complaints, now they can all ring each other and me :( for free.

Stilll well worth it. Still using it my spare phone, which is used for map/gps tracking and fin ding routes etc. so one off paupyment for free internet is fantastic.
Keep meaning to get a data only one for ipad as another free means.
