Jimlad, I have a couple of them, the threads are rubbish. That's my bet. Both mine work in one of my FT chargers (I.E. they charge) but not the others ("real" ones from UK vendors) :/ I have been able to force the Bydtechs in at an angle but I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't mind potentially screwing up a charger

e: As RedMogg said above, my FT eGo charger works with the Bydtech batteries

Hey Red the Sig is quite a tight mech mod.

Got to get it nice and secure so it doesnt jangle when you move it due to tube being loose etc.

Its nice though for such a cheap device, and gives a consistent vape.

my chi you clone came today, i heard it was really good, its rubbish, no matter how hard u try u cannot get the bottom switch to work normally without the battery rattling like a bag of bones, with or without a nipple battery its impossible. its such a shame. no matter how hard u turn the screw.

if the battery doesnt rattle then the bottom button is stuck and cannot be pressed. its a real shame because it looks great.

You could try taking it apart and stretching the spring a bit mate, sometimes that helps to firm everything up inside and provide a better connection.

Jimlad- I have two ego batteries and a charger I don't use any more if you'd like them? You can have them free of charge obviously.

that would be awesome if they are powerful enough to power a protank?

does it use telescopic contacts or spring?

Dependant on your switch you may need to have the battery facing towards toe spring side so that it does not easily touch the contacts when the button is not pressed.

In my sig for example if i have the nipple pointing down towards the switch it will fire or cause the switch to be stuck because it is pushing against the switch instread of the delring.

They're only 650's I think dude, from when I first started. Is that powerful enough?

properly not, but not to worry i appreciate the kind offer, just ordered a couple of 1100 with next days postage. so to me those cheap ones from fasttech work ok for a while but the thread goes on them super quick, weather its the charger or the protank that grinds them down i dont know

Hey scorch, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the clone:rolleyes: I'm sure you'll get it sorted, did you get your Kayfun lite?

Got my Kayfun mini today, just set it up and im pleasantly surprised, easy to set up and vapes great :D:D
mmmmm apple pie and custard :D

Fasttech delivery this morning - only took 26 days... Still, you pays yer money and you takes yer chances.

Couple of dozen juice bottles (ready to start my own mixology lab), 2 Igo-Ws, an Immortaliser, SS drip tip (fantastic) and half a dozen sonic toothbrush heads that don't fit my toothbrush :(

The Drippers have had their crappy (6.5 ohm!) coils removed and been boiled for an hour, then soaked in Milton Sterilising solution for the rest of the day. The sheer amount of filth that came out of them is scary!

Will report back with pictures once I've had a play :p

OK now I really want to get into this vaping but I gave up smoking over 2 years ago but as I understand it you can get nicotine free juice?

Although I am just starting out I really want to go the whole hog and get a mod and a rebuildable tank as I like building things up so actually setting it up would be a big part of the vaping for me.

What mods/tanks do you guys recommend and what do I actually need to buy to get going.

I wouldnt be against spending £100 for everything or a bit more for some nice kit. Cheers
