Going from A-B (return)

Going from point A to point B £33.50

Going from Point B to point A (return journey) £22.50

Not the cheapest, but fair enough.

However, when you go to actually click on them, when you click one (either one) it raises the price of the other, so in effect, the cheapest you can get it for is £71.

Even more expensive if you buy separately.

I know it's not the end of the world in regards price, but it is a little bit cheeky would you not agree?!

If you went to Tesco and something was buy one get one half price, would you try to buy one and only pay 75%?

Blanking out the journey details makes this thread rather pointless as nobody can try and reproduce it to see if the error is universal or not.

national express is great well in advance but can be poor value late on. I bought a ticket from chelt to Victoria for £1 (bought in summer for a pre Xmas trip). woman next to me paid £25+

I also tend to purchase separate tickets each way. I tend to find it cheaper

It reminds me of that old joke:

Customer : How much for 1 can of beans?

Shopkeeper : That'll be one pound.

Customer : How much for 2 cans of beans?

Shopkeeper : That'll be one pound fifty.

Customer : I'll take the second can then please!

It's actually cheaper to fly to Europe and back with Easy Jet than it is taking a coach in the U.K.

Sad times we live in.

We can't say that without knowing where the ticket is from, to, what the booking conditions are and what the advance purchase requirements are. What you probably mean is that it's cheaper to book a totally non-flexible plane ticket 4 months in advance than it is to buy a bus ticket for travel tommorrow, but that's completely incomparable, as daft as those comparisons between a walkup train ticket and a charter fliight to Mexico booked a year ahead..

Why on earth have you blanked out the journey details? Not as though someone is going to identify your house adress by posting a train station that a million people live near...
