How on earth did we lose to that rabble? With the exception of a couple of shots from distance we controlled the game from the 10th minute. Poor defending from Gerrard and Enrique from a corner and brain dead decision making in the final third cost us what should have been a comfortable win.
 
MotM Joensy, had Gerrard, Sturridge and and Luis the bucktoothed cannibal in his back pocket all night.
 
Pains me to say it but I think Gerrard is finished, his legs have gone imo. Also, Lucas and Henderson are not good enough. Liverpool's midfield needs a major revamp.

Does anyone know what Zaha has done to Moyes? 15m signing, great preseason then he's just been shunned completely, not even a sub appearance, really odd :confused:

He must have a behind the scenes situation. I know he has a bit of baggage, they made him sit next to Giggsy for instance in the dressing room or so was reported.

The pre season performances were outstanding and to not even get 10 mins in the carling cup is miserable.

But you have got Moses and Couthinio and Sterling what more do you need

Any two of those three with Coutinho ahead of them and we look good, just don't have any creativity or drive without him in the team which is probably why we were looking at that weird name bloke in the summer who signed for Dortmund.

You disagree? We were getting in behind your defense time and again but kept finding ways of ****ing it up. Utd on the other hand had a couple of shots from distance and the goal from a corner.

edit: like they're showing on Sky now.
