To be fair with such a good job that's been done with this remake it will be interesting to see if they follow suit with a Twilight Princess remake in HD...something I wouldn't mind seeing ;)

Having an HD remake while we wait for the next proper Zelda sequel wouldn't be a bad thing to do...would make a lot of sense.

Its probably near the top of my list in terms of all time favourite games but if there is a remake coming it's destined for the 3DS as the assets are built up already...I'm sure that will be announced soon enough next year.

US/Canada have the Zelda WW bundles now - pics knocking around US boards showing the gamepad - A1 quality - markings cannot rub off/scuff/scratch etc.

You'd expect nothing less, consider the many DS/3DS/XL special editions, Nintendo are a dab hand at this sort of thing now :)

I have to say Sonic is certainly getting my attention, looks like a terrific game from the trailers so hopefully it scores well and sells well.

I'll certainly pick it up but when?! I actually have no idea. With Pokemon X/Y coming a week and a bit before it I'll be too busy with that until COD:Ghosts comes to Wii U...so it may end up being an after Xmas game to pick up.

Thanks :D that's reassuring! Glad to see Nintendo put so much care into the quality and didn't just splash on some paint that comes off with the slightest scratch.

Really looking forward to finally getting my hands on a Wii U, will definitely be purchasing Monster Hunter 3 too (finally!). Also can't wait to hear more about X and the new Zelda game.
 
Well they finally talked about that tease of a Pokemon game hidden in the History of Pokemon video playing at the Pokemon Game Show...

Pokémon's director has acknowledged a video tease that came out of Japan last month, which seems to suggest an upcoming entry in the franchise would be a fully-fledged Wii U title.

In an interview with Nintendo Life, Junichi Masuda was questioned over the image below, with the site asking him if it was meant as a teaser for an upcoming Wii U game.

"Ooh, I wonder what it was...I'm not sure..." he said, while smiling and laughing. "That was actually a video which was shown at the Pokémon Games Show, an event in Tokyo last month and it was showing the history of Pokémon games as well as the future. It was kind of a concept about what the future of Pokémon may look like..."

While Masuda stops short of officially confirming a Wii U title is on the way, his coyness about refusing to confirm the existence of such a game certainly speaks volumes.

In the meantime, the next entries in the Pokémon series will be the X & Y versions, available on 3DS on October 12.

Although to me it looks like it may be some sort of Pokemon Fighting game ala Street Fighter; based on the fact Lucario and Blaziken are the two Pokemon shown in the image...I would have course prefer it to be a fully fledged Pokemon game on the Wii U.

Rayman dispatched a few days after ordering at £20.99 ;) Back in stock at Amazon for anyone interested and still £20.99
 
The Wii U pro remote we bought the other day as gone back. Player kept just moving right what ever direction you put.

Took it back to be replaced and Argos said they have now stopped stocking them as they are always coming back in faulty.

Mine's been faultless.
 
I think this will be my console of choice for Christmas. Don't fancy spending £500 on a new console, as that to me is a ridiculous price for a console, new or not.

Mario will sell big hopefully, as it did for the 3DS and boosted sales dramatically from what I recall.

Lots of people are going to fall onto the Wii U for those exact same reasons.

It's just starting to deliver the games it needs and it's also becoming clear it's more powerful than many had it down for.
