Eurogamer Expo 2013 - 26th to 29th September

Virgin Media powered stream. Well this is going well.

LMAO. Considering Virgin is the only ISP that throttles PSN activity, it does make me wonder why Sony are partnering with them. And now we have a fine example of 0.001fps video with this Eurogamer presentation.

Came back around 40 min ago, was worth it.
Does anyone remember the flying shooter game nearby the entrance? I think it was on PS4, searched for this game on their website and google but didn't find it... The thing was could something like F2P Flying shooter...

War Thunder?

Only one i can think of coming out at release. I am going tomorrow so look forward to trying some stuff out! :)

Well I have returned. Queuing for Tinafall actually took up a long time, well over 2 hours. But it was worth it. Titanfall is a very fun game to play. Before you play, you get shown a video of how to play the game which I think was good. The game is running on PC but you use Xbox 360 controllers and the game is very easy to control with 360 controller. So you get into the game straight away without worrying about how to play and you can do all the cool stuff that you have seen in the vids easily. If you are going I would recommend playing this game and will be a definite purchase for me.

I go to play FIFA 14Next gen which provides a nice graphics update but the gameplay remains largely the same as in FIFA 14 current gen although my players did seem to slip over on the odd occaision.

The Xbox one controller is different to the 360 so may take a bit of getting used. I think its a little smaller than the 360. The guy who I played at FIFA thought that the bumper buttons were a bit stiff.

I wanted to play Battlefield 4 but they had a power cut which screwed things up for a while. I did get to watch some gameplay of Battlefield 4. Interesting thing is that its running on Xbox 1 at Eurogamer. You could see the consoles in little cages undeneath the TVs.

I didn't have time to have a go on PS4 to see what the DS4 was like unfortunately. I did see the console in action with drive club and some unidentified game.

My advice for anyone going is that if want to play Battlefield 4, Watchdogs, Titanfall and Wolfenstein. When you arrive head on up the escalator to the over 18s area ASAP. If you don't then you will be stuck in an extremely long queue, especially for Titanfall. COD Ghosts is actually on the ground floor.

If you want next gen FIFA only one set screens has next gen and they are next to the escaltor that goes up to the over 18s area, the rest are all 360.

You can see Forza being played at the Xbox stand but all the other Xbox 1 games are closed off booths.

Nope, War Thunder is out for a long time now. I've level 13, in the game you got a jet figher similiar to F18, view from cockpit and you had to destroy massive ground unit's.

From the board what I remember is F2P Flying shooting... but can't remember the whole name

Enjoyed myself today, got to play on both Xbox One and PS4. Also nice to see AA titles actually available to played on the PC. Instead of having a 360 controller out and keyboard and mouse locked away, so people think its the console version they are playing.

Was there yesterday and managed to only play Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5 plus some other games which didn't require 25795578 hours of queuing. I came back thinking about one thing, the xbox one controller feels Fisher Price like. I am not trolling nor I am a Sony fanboy, considering I've only preordered the XBone. The sticks felt really cheap and overall felt not weighty, I say weighty in the sense if you buy a German car and shut the door there's that satisfying clunk unlike a Korean car for example. The PS4 controller definitely had that weighty German car built quality about it. I am not going to cancel my order nor is it a deal breaker but I think it will be personal choice with everyone. I expected more from MS after they dumped millions into rebuilding the controller.

Forza 5 looked like Forza 4! Nothing more to add sorry.

Dead Rising 3 was awesome! Well glad I preordered this. The frame rate looked good and didn't notice any issues. Something to note, I asked the developers about the frame rate issues and one of them mentioned that it was initially designed for the 360 and converted over at least minute, hence the issues. Take away what you may from that statement but I was slightly shocked.

Watch Dogs, no playable demo but developers made us watch a live mission and it looked good to some degree but it hasn't changed how I feel about this game and what mentioned earlier in the Watch Dog thread, it seems to play like Assassins Creed.

The best game I played was on the PS4 something called Octodad or Octopus Dad, f-ing brilliant! It was located on the Virgin Media stand if anyone remembers the full name.
