Guys,
I have a Facebook account but stopped using it about a year or so ago however a friend says they still see recent activity from me on their newsfeed.

Apparently it showed on their newsfeed that I had like 'Intel' along with another person who is also a friend of mine and theirs.

I may have 'Liked' Intel a long time ago and was wondering why I am showing on this persons newsfeed as recent activity...

Any ideas?

post on users behalf, you give permission on some things.

Maybe?! no idea log in and see?

probably because Intel and other companies pay facebook money to make that happen

have seen it with a few corporate pages... every so often the news feed will show joe bloggs likes Heineken etc... and then it pops up again a few days later...

Cheers guys, I think I've turned it off. Went to Facebook Adverts and clicked on Edit for Adverts & Friends and clicked on 'no one'.

Is that right?

Oh and the only reason I keep Facebook activated is because Skype uses my contacts from Facebook and deactivating will remove the Facebook contacts from Skype.

It's an ad effectively, facebook must have told me at least 20 times so far that one of my friends liked O2. I understood the first time it told me :/
