Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28 - 30th September 2013]

I love the fickle Arsenal fans on here, all calling on DM's latest rant like only months ago they weren't singing from the same hymn sheet as him. At least he's consistent!

Anyway we have been here many times with Arsenal, top of the league until christmas. The advent calendar is a countdown until you start getting knocked out of everything and the season falls apart. That squad just doesn't have enough depth when Ozil get's the inevitable broken leg at arsenal etc ;)

I believe it was only a month ago when Mendoza asked what Arsenal fans aren't calling for Wenger to be fired.

My reply, you in a few weeks time.... again.

Every month he switches sides and acts like he was always on that side without question, it's pretty funny.

We didn't make enough chances today, WIlshire was much improved, Ozil didn't do a huge amount, Gnabry had 5 good minutes and Ramsey as per usual looks horrible deep in midfield and in our own half mostly and good running into the box. His best position will end up being a withdrawn striker/no.10. You know the position that Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshire, Rosicky and probably Podolski all prefer and are best in.

We've had a good start to the season, we've had a pretty soft start to the season. Let's perhaps see how we're doing in the league after we've played another 5-6 games. 10th Nov we will have played Liverpool and Utd, see how we're doing after that.

Quote me where I have contracticted myself...

I dont think many of the Arsenal fans on here have said our starting elevn arent good enough on here. We have been crying for signing to add depth to our squad. If everyone stays fit for the season then yes we do have big enough and good enough team but they never do.

If you had DM as a fellow supporter then you would be the same way. Some of his comments are true but others are just loaded on the back of a hate campaign against Wenger. If he didnt repeat and repeat the same things every week and throw in one or two positives about the way we play he wouldnt be so bad.

We could do with another striker for Giroud cover but we have Bendtner and if he can slap himself in the face and start playing how he did in the reserves he could be a dark horse.

Is the squad perfect no, but no complaints to the start of the season. So why not let us enjoy our time at the top :p

Lets wait until Christmas and see where we stand...

You must be a joy to live with

Doesnt it get you down waiting for people to fail? It is so easy to back the loser in a competition of 20 teams, especially when some of those teams have unlimited backing from sugar daddies...

Be happy for the team you support whilst we are doing well, heck you might even enjoy it :p

I don't think we've really got our act together as an attacking unit yet this season, which is kind of exciting. Can't wait for Ozorla interplay, for one.

Orzola?? who is he??:D Yep cant wait to see Carzola playing with Ozil, Wilshere did ok today but he just seems to be missing something in his game perhaps his fitness??

I just think come Jan Wenger needs to give us better attacking options ie striker/centre forward and a few defensive players to help us rotate better because Mert looked knackered out there tonight.

So much for Gnabry being knackered after playing 120mins the other night:p, the kid is a machine and can only hope he gets better now. Wenger needs to give him time in games even when Walnut is back.

You all fall for Morgan's trolling tweets :p

Meh i dont know who in their right mind would follow that chump. I just find it hilarious with his tweets about Arsenal. Wish he would go tweet about Leeds or something;):p

wow what a day to be a gooner, Ramsey is a different player with Ozil feeding him opportunity

oh and mind the gap united lol

Man U fans never happy, they beat Liverpool in midweek and were in a grump now they've lost to WBA at home and are still unhappy. Cheer up!

What are the chances of Fergie walking out before a home game onto the pitch in front of a sold out crowd and giving a Winston Churchill style speech?

We sure as hell need it.

Indeed poor souls that they are, worst start to the PL campaign for them so i kinda understand their hatred for Arsenal and any other team that is doing better than them. Hopefully Shaktar can do a job on them this coming week along with Sunderland just to send them into more of a rage frenzy lol.
