Ive had games from origin on a second mechanical drive and theyve ran fine. You just need to create an origin games folder on the second drive, then before downloading any new games change the saved game location to the newly created folder. Ssd user here too so space is always a concern.Annoying that origin doesn't give you an option to install to a different drive, space is at a premium on my ssd =/

Got BF4 + Platinum for £60 but I don't get my key till 29th October so won't be able to play the BETA.
Not the end of the world, but just means I have to wait longer to play it!

So pleased they had the sense to allow us to pre-download. Maybe they are finally learning from their mistakes.
