Annoying that origin doesn't give you an option to install to a different drive, space is at a premium on my ssd =/

Got BF4 + Platinum for £60 but I don't get my key till 29th October so won't be able to play the BETA.

Not the end of the world, but just means I have to wait longer to play it!

Ive had games from origin on a second mechanical drive and theyve ran fine. You just need to create an origin games folder on the second drive, then before downloading any new games change the saved game location to the newly created folder. Ssd user here too so space is always a concern.

In origin settings/advanced, you can change the location of the output folder.

It goes open beta on the 4th mate, it's only on the 1st for early beta.

One of the reasons I waited until a decent sized SSD was within my budget. Got a 250GB one with W7, SW:TOR, ME3 (I like the multiplayer), ME2 and BF3 have around 80GB free.

bought a second hand ssd from members market for 100 as my128 was running out of space so all orgin games and steam are on the 250gb now

Pre-loading now, coming down at my max speed so far, so impressed with Origin.
Let's hope come release day they have plenty of server's ready to get swamped with people trying to download 30gb.

Downloading at full speed here. 7.5Mbps +.

Only going to take 10 minutes.

Going to see how it runs on an MSI 6970 Lightning and my old Phenom 965. Might get an 8350 or whatever the new AMD CPU's are if needed (if it is AM3+).

Origin has stuck on 20% installing the game. Can't even log out. Hmm....
