What were you using, an i5?
I doubt its that otherwise id be seeing the same thing with my i7. Also i believe he was using a non HT cpu.

Whoops, I read his sig which said 4770k.
I have to admit i assumed he was using the i7 as well. Maybe that will make the difference. Still seems odd though that an i5 would cause that, but this bench does seem to be a bit cpu bottlenecked in places.

I have a fairly low minimum FPS in the Last Light Benchmark. Also when I was running 314.22 on a later build of PhysX I was having obismal performance in the benchmark when the effects kicked in.
Could be any number of things but I'd try experimenting with different PhysX/GPU drivers.

Yeah, this time it didn't have any noticeable stutter at all.
It's hard to believe that a 4670K at 4.5GHz couldn't cope.
I agree that is bizarre.
