STOPTOBER!

I used to be able to stop smoking whenever I wanted, infact I used to take a week off every 3 months to clear my lungs out... I have noticed the older I get the harder this is to do... so yeah ok, I won't smoke during October. Good challenge :)
 
If i'm kept busy I don't smoke its only when I'm bored or at a certain time of the day like after I've eaten or before bed. The problem is I'm usually bored at work and hardly ever busy so the real challenge for me is getting through work without a smoke. Must. Dig. Deep.
 
For those that are partaking in stoptober, how are you doing thus far? After having massive cravings on my way to work this morning I seem to be coping okay but feeling really grumpy but that could be due to being at work :p
 
Perfect timing, i've got a cold that started yesterday...completely puts me off smoking when i have a cold, time to try quitting (again....i geuinely WANT to quit this time)
 
After a particularly stressful month (and about 6 months of giving up, although still craving) I feel like starting again more than ever, lets see if I last stoptober.

Woke up this morning and instantly wanted to smoke. I smoked roll ups so I'd say I was a fairly hardcore smoker.

I have an 18 hour patch on my arm which is making my skin feel itchy and a mist inhaler which I've only had one blast from so far.

Days 1 - 3 are always the most difficult, I keep telling myself it will get easier.
 
I have a friend doing this "apparently". I say "apparently" as she is just using e-cigs instead which I don't think is the idea of stoptober at all, it's quite a stupid thing to do really in my opinion. You either want to quit or you don't.
 
Going canny here like, its not that hard really, a craving lasts a few min then go's away. Been eatting midget gems like theres no tommorow lol.

I've gone through a pack of chewing gum and a whole bag of satsumas. At this rates, its cheaper to smoke :eek:

next it will be crisps and Krispy kremes, at least at the end of it you will be fat enough to get a second job as a supermarket santa :D
