Ever walk out of a restaurant?

If so, at what point and why?

I considered it tonight when it took an hour for the main course to show up and it was luke warm.
 
No, because whenever I go to a restaurant it's normally with my mum and she would prefer to create a big scene in that case xD
 
Have once as the service was shocking, yet the look we got when we left was like I'd just had a **** on the table and left it there.
 
Quite a few times. Recently as our waiter appeared like a clueless halfwit barely able to breathe on his own without reminding so we left before I inevitably had to cause a scene. Then a few times at local restaurants. Eight waiters in the place, we the only clients and it took us 15min to get a waiter to come over. Ordered, ate, got up and left. Don't think they even noticed.

I generally stick to 1-2 restaurants I know are up to scratch and don't bother going elsewhere.
 
Once, when my medium steak came out blackened on one side and only just seared on the other. Not something you'd expect to pay for in any restaurant.
 
Yep, one time it was just obvious that we were going to have a terrible time so we didn't even sit down. Said sorry and left.
 
i have flat out refused to pay for a course but i have never walked out, pity though as the starter was fantastic.
 
No I've never left a restaurant; I'm still inside the first restaurant I ever went into. I don't know if anyone is getting this message, but they've kept me here for 17 years and I still don't know what they want. They're not human. I've never seen creatures like tghjkl;p[[[[[[[[[[[[

Down the local upmarket chain pub, I ordered some food alongside the other people we were with. Their food turned up in 30 mins, and then another 30 mins ours turned up. I lost it just before it was about to turn up and asked for my money back as our friends had finished theirs and needed to go, so I got our money back and drinks for free.
 
Yes twice, first time rude staff swearing in front of our son complained and left
Second got drink order wrong 5 times said we have had enuff and left
 
Only once I can recall, because it had taken an age to be aknowledged and even longer for the food to arrive. Went to the place next door and had a lovely meal.

I would've walked out of a noodle place on Friday night as it took an hour for our food to arrive and then another 20mins for mine to turn up. If it hadn't been 8o'clock and my daughter not been with us I probably would have. They were obviously having issues and we've had good service there before. Turns out they'd had a new computer system installed the day before and it were still ironing our a few bugs. They gave me a healthy discount off the bill which kept me happy.
 
Took a date to a country gastro pub and I had the "freshly made to order by our in house chef... steak and ale pie"... it turned up with the middle frozen...!

Freshly made eh? no its reheated frozen... and not even reheated!... we got the whole meal for free lol
