*** iPhone 5S/5C - September 10th ***

My silver 64s is now Hong Kong, due here for friday. (ordered at 5am)

The black 16s ordered for the MD is showing as dispatched (ordered at 7am) The gold 16s ordered for MD's wife is still showing as October (ordered at 7am)

Anyone who has ordered from Three did you actually get a text from them/DPD about delivery? I have been told on the phone from Three that it will arrive today but I haven't heard anything else!

I had a text from DPD last night as ordered the One Plan 12 months £15 a month.

Checked tracking of iPhone and it's out for delivery today! Ahead of schedule. Woop.

Mine is now showing at my local depot and out for delivery.....a day early!

Guys mine was suppose to be delivered tomorrow but its been tracked just 3 miles away at my local UPS depo and out for delivery today just so you are aware. Its likely to be the case with everyones.

I checked early doors this morning and it had landed at Castle Donnington (are you ready to rock?), so had an inkling this might be the case. I'll check again! :D

Woo!

I love the way people think they get a free upgrade on their contract. The £40 a month you pay for two years pays for the phone! Get a sim only deal for about £8 a month and buy a new phone outright sim free when you need one. Works out far cheaper.

Yarp, that's what a lot of us have done. It's a pain outlaying the cash initially, but saves in the long run and you're not beheld to your network. Which is worth the outlay in it's own right for me, my phone, free to take my custom wherever I want whenever I want. Win.

The way it's interpreted is that "free" means you do not pay anything upfront for a new handset when your contract is up for renewal. It's an upgrade because you are getting a newer/better handset for the same monthly sum as what you are paying as before. I'd like to think most people in this thread know that the actual phone isn't free.

Got mine here in Edinburgh before UPS tracking even said it was Out For Delivery. I think the chances are good that most UK "first-batchers" will be getting something today.

Can work out cheaper on a contract sometimes to be fair.

For the last 22 months I've paid <=£30 for my bills and a 4S. Two months left and will have paid £720 or so after 24 months. It's worth about £150 so call that £570... That includes 24 months of calls, texts and data. How much was 4S new from Apple?

Also would have received a couriered replacement if the handset was ever faulty.

Swings and roondaboots.

Mine's due to be delivered some time tomorrow... however it's 100% nobody is going to be at home after about 11am, so I'm almost certain nobody will be around to pick it up. UPS are rubbish and I can't seem to easily change the delivery date to Thursday (when there will be someone in). Gah, why can't I just easily rearrange it!?

Hope the durability of this fancy home button is good. It feels a bit funny to me, though I've not owned an iPhone since the 3G.

Could be because it's slightly less concave than the previous ones. Didn't they also move to a more durable metal bit for the clicky thing (not sure about what the actual part is called)?

Johnny, so no dents or scratches of the sort? :)
