Howdo all,

Thinking of doing this bumper shave:

Obviously mine on top, shaved on bottom.

Ignore quality and use of mobile photogrid app thingy. Also ignore the awesome positioning of the reg plate afterwards...

What do we think?

number plate plinth looks rubbish. get it gone.

what is involved in getting it gone? or do you just plan on giving it to a body shop

It looks great but as far as I am concerned the number plate 'problem' (as in, where it goes if you do shave it) cannot be resolved in a way that looks good, or is legal ;)

That mock up looks good.

But I think it looks good because its without a number plate, more than from having a bit smoothed.

What's the point? The differences are minor and you'll still need a number plate. Not worth the time, money or effort in my opinion.

Get it done, he doesn't use the front numberplate anyway (windscreen perhaps). Although it will mean you need to get a new grill!

Thanks for the opinions :)

I've contacted Zunsport to see if they would be able to do a full grille like the one in my photoshop. If it is something they can do (as I like the quality of their stuff) then I will likely get myself another bumper and attempt the shave myself, but have the body shop finish and spray.

I agree. But keep on subject ;)

Zunsport have said they can make me a custom grille once the bumper is all done, all they need to do is measure up and get the fittings done where I want them :)
