Those parents were given many moons notice, they could have booked a day off and spent it with the kids. Oh wait most parents HATE spending time with the kids and would rather they go away
Segway Rallying is not a respected degree.
Why dont you go break your back?
Oh wait, i wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. so shut up
Because like all good Tories his idea of a good night out involves some roleplay and S&M.![]()

Oh god, You are a child. On the ignore list you go![]()
There was a strike?!, ohh sorry I don't have kids yet seem to pay for others that do - but thats another story.

I find it's better to think of it as repaying what the state gave you as a kid, rather than paying for other people's kids. Gets me riled up less often.![]()
Thats a good way to look at it tbh.
However if a parent did that during normal school day, took their kid out for the day, skipping school, there'd be a nice "fine" on the doormat from the school.
Parents of affected children today should turn the tables and send in "fines" to the school for allowing their kids to miss a term-time school day.
Daily Telegraph said:[Michael Gove] is to abolish the right of head teachers to “authorise absence” from the classroom, which has been used to let families take term-time breaks, and will warn them they face fines for their children not being at school.
At present, head teachers have the discretion to approve two weeks of absence from school for each child, which is supposed to be for illness, bereavement or when children cannot get to school because of bad weather.
It is not supposed to be granted for holidays but teachers wary of upsetting parents have widely ignored the rule.
to be fair that does sound like a good night out![]()
Just like that?
BS
Just like that, its what NORMAL people do. Teachers are not normal people?
And what about the REST of my post?
What about protesting it on a Saturday? Why do they have to do it in a weekday? Go on, be honest here, because everyone else knows the answer but I just want to hear it from the horse's mouth.
Define normal, and explain how it can be used legitimately in such a situation.
Tefal don't you dare start. I've only just recovered from that other thread where you were making purchasing enquiries. I've led a very sheltered life and am of a particularly delicate nature.
