Ever Hated Your Job?

Have you ever hated your job to the point it disgusts you, the people disgust you, the clients disgust you. Going in everyday makes you feel angry because your stuck there till you get the oppurtunity to move to something you love?

I absoloutely dispise my job right now, the people I work with are somewhat okay and thats what keeps me here. I stay because I need the money, the job itself while helping people is full of ****.

If you loathe your job so much then maybe you should think about resigning from it and let someone in who would appreciate it! You're no good to the company that employs you nor to their clients if you have that attitude!

There are 1000's of people out there who are desperate for a job so I suspect in the current economic climate, it wouldn't be difficult to fill your post!

The only thing is, I do my job well. Hating it has nothing to do with my service. I provide good service to my clients and thats all that matters.

My attitude does not affect my relationship with my customers.

I find that somewhat difficult to believe when in your first sentence you say that your clients disgust you!

I've worked for myself since virtually leaving school many many years ago and yes there have been times when I've not wanted to be doing what I did or wasn't impressed by my clients but I've always had job satisfaction and control over my own destiny which compensated for the bad times.

I certainly wouldn't have stayed in my line of work if I felt so much distaste for it as you do. It wouldn't have been fair on my clients and more so ME!

If you hate your job so much, which is certainly not uncommon among many employees, then you owe it to your employers and more so you and your personal well-being, to leave the job and find something that at least gives you job satisfaction even if not an increase in remuneration.

I actually did sack one of the young lads on the spot for taking a load of papers over the road to the park so he could sort them all out while he sat in the sun..

You fired the poor lad for wanting to be in the sun  we hardly get any as it is! :p
