GTX460 vs GTX570

Hi peeps,

I currently have an old trusty and reliable Gigabyte GTX460 Super OC. I've got the chance of picking up a KFA2 GTX570 relatively cheap.

Is the upgrade worth it? Is it an upgrade at all? Would I see any performance increase and would I be able to OC it much?

Decent step, if cheap might as well. Yes to the overclocking potential, 570s clock on average pretty well.

Hi mate. I mainly use FSX which does tend to run smoother on nvidia cards. Cheap being £50 and I could sell on my GTX460 to recoup most of the cost of the 570.

Then do it mate Cracking deal and you'll notice the difference for sure.

Ha, £50!!! That's a steal, 460s tend to sell for about £30-40 so that's most your money back

That was the price (50-60) I was planning to sell my GTX570, so I believe is normal.
