GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

The servers seem to be much better today (when joining directly from the loading screen). However, it does take several restarts of the game before i get through.

If it doesn't work during first loading screen you have one attempt to reconnect (by pressing square when prompted). If that doesn't work then restart the game and keep trying. I've a theory that once the connection to social club has failed pretty much all hope is lost until the game is fully rebooted.

I'd also recommend reducing latency (i.e using ethernet) to improve your chances of getting through over others.

Or just wait until this bs is resolved (sigh).

P.s if you do get through, survival mode in Sandy Shores is awesome for levelling up. You can climb the tower and use it as cover and just endlessly farm kills, walking away from the edges to regen health...

Online is a joke on the PS3 they should have kept it off for another week until it functions properly instead of this waiting game.

Grand Theft Wait Online.
 
I know people say that there are always problems with big online game releases but this is a very bad one imo. There seem to so many bugs, problems and server issues.

Add that to the fact that when you do actually get online some people are indestructible, are level 99, have endless amounts of cash and are actual snipers!

It is a bit of a joke really, 5 years since the last one but still the same old problems.
 
Anyone else unable to auto-aim, single player and mp?

I'm just gonna wait a few days and come back to this, I have plenty of stuff I should have done a while back anyway :p
 
Yeah I've kind had enough of online for now will wait a few days. The amount of bugs and problems is pretty high.

It deleted my old character. Then with the new character, night turned to day all of sudden my character was invisible.

It was working on both yesterday, although on mp it was very glitchy. you would need to try aiming 3 or 4 times for a lock on.

But now, even in single player it wont do jack.

Starting to feel really disappointed in all this, I do hope it is all easy things to fix and mostly due to as always having crap servers (like every game ever made) :(
 
Can i get an add to the crew again? I'm showing as not in a crew either in social club or in game, and if i need to play with all the wee ****s online i'll end up chucking it.

I got on for a bit. It's pretty rubbish. Think Unreal Tornament but without it actually being good. Everyone doing nothing but ramming you in cars and shooting at you. Nobody actually seems to do anything and it's all a bit of a nonsense really.

If you thought the volume of traffic (foot/car) was bad in SP wait until you try mp, it's literally empty a lot of the time. That is until 5 of the same car decide to drive past as speed knocking you over lol

What a pile of crap. I'm starting to wonder whether GTA has deserved all the hype it got.
 
I don't like how your forced into a race that is dependent on other players before you can even start.

Why cant you just spawn at the airport and then do what the hell you want ?
