Hmm, whats different to that than the Samsung 8000 series that were costing between 2000 - 2500..., why are the Plasma's so cheap?

You want to get a decent plasma that has a real black coating and also anti reflection/ glare otherwise they are basically unusable in daylight. About £700 should be ok.. Otherwise just get an LCD.

Or turn it around so its not facing a window!

The LG is a couple of years old. The Samsung model no doubt has "smart" features as well.

Hmmm they still do not work very well in anything but low light unless they have anti glare and black coating...
